  • 2018 resolutionsBe Specific. It’s easy to say “I want to exercise more,” but it’s hard to track that. Set specific goals, such as “I will get 20 minutes of exercise every day” and you’ll find that you’re more likely to stick to them.
  • Be Realistic. Don’t expect to jump right into being a fitness nut if you’ve been more the couch potato type. Start with baby steps like taking the stairs instead of the elevator, going on a walk around the neighborhood during lunch, or swapping out one soda for water each day. Once you’ve made one healthy habit (it generally takes about 28 days to form a new habit), you can add more.
