Your First Visit to Fun Slides: Everything Parents Should Know

If you’re planning your first trip to Fun Slides Carpet Skatepark near Pittsburgh, you might be wondering what to expect. From carpet skating ramps to obstacle courses and dodgeball, Fun Slides offers one of the most unique indoor activity experiences in Pittsburgh.

Whether you’re visiting for a birthday party, a rainy day outing, or just an afternoon of active fun, here’s everything parents should know before arriving.

What is Carpet Skating?

Carpet skating is exactly what it sounds like. Guests wear special plastic skates that strap over their shoes and glide across carpet-covered ramps, rails, and slides.

Unlike roller skating or ice skating, carpet skating is easier to learn and takes only a few minutes for most kids to feel comfortable.

New skaters are helped by instructors until they’re ready to explore the park on their own.
